The main aim of the CYCLE Programme is the realisation and success of the ITER Ion Cyclotron Heating Antenna, a part of the ITER Project.
The Parties of the CYCLE Programme are currently working on the following topics:
- Design, R&D, Procurement and Operation of the JET ITER-like and Tore Supra Ion Resonant Cyclotron Heating (ICRH) antenna systems;
- Conceptual Design of the ITER Ion Cyclotron Resonant Heating Antenna system;
- Theory, Interpretative and Predictive Modelling of Radio Frequency (RF) systems and wave coupling, propagation and absorption.
